This is a genuine Rochard Limoges trinket box, hand-painted in Limoges, France — the porcelain capital of the world since the 17th century. The Frog Prince sits regally on his lily pad, gold crown in place, a pink lotus at his feet, gold clasp securing his secrets inside.
