England: The Royal Tudor Velvet plates are by Grindley of Stoke, England, c. 1972–1982 — a chintz pattern so lush it reads almost like fabric.
Italy: The Ginori salad plates carry the anthemion gold border that has graced Italian tables for generations — Ginori has been crafting fine porcelain in Tuscany since 1735.
France: The Limoges dessert plates bring the roses — soft pink clusters trailing across white porcelain with gold trim, made in France.
