French Opaline Glass Three-Tier Epergne

$700.00

There's a reason the French have a specific word for this shape. Nothing else quite does what it does.

This three-tier epergne is French opaline glass at its most sculptural — a soft, milky white glass with a gentle glow, built in three graduated tiers, each one finished with a deeply ruffled and crimped rim that catches light along every wave. A slender trumpet vase rises from the top tier, flanked by two wide ruffled bowls below, all rising from a substantial footed pedestal base. At 12" tall and 10.5" at its widest, it has real presence without overwhelming a space.

Epergnes were originally designed as table centerpieces — historically filled with fruit, flowers, or sweets — and this one still does that job beautifully. But it's just as compelling styled as a jewelry display, holding rings and bracelets in its tiers, or simply left empty on a vanity or console where its silhouette can do all the work.

Tucked inside every set, a little something for first time Tavola customers — a hand-finished vintage passport notebook. Note the piece, the moment, the person you gave it to. One day these pieces will sit in someone else's hands — and they'll know it came from yours.
