Staffordshire Blue Floral & Gilt Amphora Vase

$140.00
Sold Out

The shape alone earns the room. The color keeps it.

This 13" amphora-form vase was made in Staffordshire, England — a deep cobalt blue ground, with hand-painted iris and floral sprigs rendered in layers of blue on blue and picked out in gold gilt that traces the veins and edges of each leaf and petal. The angular Greek key handles sit at the shoulder with architectural precision. The flared rim and stepped pedestal foot complete a silhouette that owes as much to classical antiquity as it does to the English drawing room where it would have lived.

Two available, sold individually. No chips or cracks.

Tucked inside every set, a little something for first time Tavola customers — a hand-finished vintage passport notebook. Note the piece, the moment, the person you gave it to. One day these pieces will sit in someone else's hands — and they'll know it came from yours.
