Vintage Scalloped Glass Compotes, Copper Pedestal Base
A little bit of mid-century elegance, reborn as a catchall.
These vintage pressed glass compotes feature a delicately scalloped rim and a ribbed, faceted bowl, each set into its own copper metal pedestal base. The two-piece construction, a removable glass insert nestled into a decorative footed base, was a popular format for small serving dishes in the mid-20th century, when a hostess could mix and match glass and metal finishes to suit her table.
Today, that same silhouette works beautifully away from the table entirely, as a jewelry dish, a catchall for rings and keys, or a trio clustered together for a bit of sparkle on a vanity or console.
6" diameter, 3 available.
Tucked inside every set, a little something for first time Tavola customers — a hand-finished vintage passport notebook. Note the piece, the moment, the person you gave it to. One day these pieces will sit in someone else's hands — and they'll know it came from yours.
