Johnson Brothers Pink Transferware Oval Platters

from $70.00
Sold Out

Two patterns. One standard. Both Johnson Brothers at their best.

Johnson Brothers has been producing English transferware since 1883, and these two oval platters represent the range of what makes the brand so collectible — a discontinued pattern that stopped being made decades ago, and a heritage scenic pattern on a large format platter with the crown backstamp that confirms English production.

Both are in the warm raspberry pink that makes Johnson Brothers transferware so instantly recognizable and so sought after for a layered, collected table.

Choose from:

Strawberry Fair | 13.5” x 11.5”
Discontinued 1960s pattern. Dense border of strawberries, cherries, blossoms, and leafy vines on a scalloped rim. No chips, cracks, or crazing — exceptional condition for a vintage piece.

Old Britain Castles | 14" x 11"
Crown backstamp — English production. Canterbury Cathedral center vignette, ornate floral and scrollwork scalloped border. Light crazing and vintage staining consistent with age.

Tucked inside every set, a little something for first time Tavola customers — a hand-finished vintage passport notebook. Note the piece, the moment, the person you gave it to. One day these pieces will sit in someone else's hands — and they'll know it came from yours.
